Email from Google Play Regarding Apache Cordova

If you received an email from Google Play about a 60-day deadline for resolving Apache Cordova vulnerabilities, here's what you should know.

Some Background

At the end of October 2014, Google Play sent out emails to Google Play developers about a possible threat that exists in their app's build. So we then released a new version that solved the issue. All publishers (that's you) were required to update their app to apply this fix.

So why are you getting this email?

Although we solved the issue back in October 2014, you received this email because you didn't update your app since then. To solve this issue, all you need to do is resubmit your app.

To resubmit your app using our free submission services:

  1. Sign in to your Swiftic Account.

  2. Click Submit to Store.

  3. Click Submit My App.

  4. Click Submit to Google Play (after you update your info).

That's it! Don't worry—once we receive your submission request, we'll take care of the rest!
