Note: The Push Notifications feature is a device-based system that works only with native apps. This means it will only work on the version of your app actually installed on a mobile device. Therefore, your app's web-app version (mobile site) will not display Push Notifications.
If you are not receiving your push notifications on your mobile device, try the following:
If you purchased a Swiftic app plan:
Resubmit your app through the Swiftic Submission service. This ensures that the most updated version of your app appears in the app stores.
Don't worry - we will do all the work for you.
Resubmit via Swiftic to the Apple App Store.
Resubmit via Swiftic to the Google Play Store.
If you have NOT purchased a Swiftic app plan:
Resubmit your app on your own. This ensures that the most updated version of your app appears in the app stores.
For Android devices, resubmit your app to the Google Play Store.
(Note: Instead of adding a new app to the Google Play Store, click on your app from All Applications and make all your desired changes. Most importantly, upload your app's new APK file.)
For iOS devices, you must also create and upload a valid Apple Push Notification service (APNs) certificate via your Apple developer account.
If you created an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) certificate when you created your app build for the Apple App Store, you will first need to revoke this APNs certificate and then generate a new one.
This process consists of 4 parts:
1. Find your app's Bundle ID.
2. Revoke your app's APNs Certificate.
3. Generate a new APNs certificate. (only use the Bundle ID from Part 1)
4. Resubmit your app to the Apple App Store.
(Note: Instead of adding a new app to iTunes connect, click on your app from My Apps and make all your desired changes. Most importantly, upload your new app build.)
If you did not create an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) certificate when you created your app build for the Apple App Store, only complete parts 3 and 4.
