To submit your app to the Apple App Store, you first need to create a compatible build. This process involves both your Swiftic account and your Apple developer account. Once you've completed your app build, you can submit your app to the Apple App Store through iTunes Connect. 

Note: Creating an app build on the Swiftic platform is only available to users who have purchased a Swiftic App Plan. For more information on our Mobile Success Plan, click here. If you already purchased a Swiftic App Plan, this service is included so let us do all the work for you!

The build process has 4 parts:

Part 1: Create an Apple developer account.

Part 2: Create and upload a distribution certificate.

Part 3: Create and upload an Apple Push Notification services (APNs) certificate.

Part 4: Create an Apple App Store build.

To create an app build for Apple (PART 1): 

1. Sign in to your Swiftic account.
    
2. Click Dashboard.
    
3. From the side menu, click To Market.
   
   
   
   
4. Click Submit My App.
   
   
   
   
5. Click the Apple App Store tab.
   
   
   
   
6. If you choose not to use our free submission services (to let us do all the hard work), scroll to the bottom of the page and click Submit on your own.
   
   
   
   
7. Click Get Ready for the Apple App Store.
   If you have submitted an app before, click Get your Apple Certificate instead.
   
   
    
8. If this is your first time submitting an app to the Apple App Store, skip to the next step. If it's not your first time submitting an app to the Apple App Store, you have 3 options:
1. Click Yes to use the same Apple distribution certificate you used to submit your previous app. Then continue to PART 3.
   
   
2. Click No, create a new one to create a new Apple distribution certificate. If you want to use the same Apple developer account or another existing account, you can then continue to PART 2.
   
   
3. Click I want to publish on a new Developer Account to create a new Apple developer account.
   
   
   
   
9. If you already have an Apple developer account, click Next and skip to PART 2.
   
   
   
   
10. If you do NOT have an Apple developer account:
    Click here to learn more about creating an Apple developer account. Within 24 hours of applying, you will receive an email to activate your account.
    
    

To create an app build for Apple (PART 2): 

1. If you have a distribution certificate (P12 file) from Apple:
   
   a) Click "Click here if you already have a distribution certificate (P12 file)...".
   b) Click Upload File, browse to your existing P12 file and click Open.
   c) Enter your file password if your P12 file is password-protected.
   d) Click Create app ID>.
   
   NOTE: You do NOT need to complete the remaining steps in PART 2.
   
   
2. If you do NOT have a distribution certificate (P12 file) from Apple, click Download File, and save the .csr file.
   
   
   
   
3. Go to https://developer.apple.com/account/ios/certificate/certificateList.action?type=distribution (log in if necessary).
   
   
4. To add a new certificate, click +.
   
   
   
   
5. Under Production, select App Store and Ad Hoc and click Continue.
   
   
   
   
6. Click Continue.
   
   
   
   
7. Click Choose File, browse to the .csr file that you downloaded in step 2 and click Open.
   
   
   
   
8. Click Generate. 
   
   
   
   
9. Click Download. 
   
   
   
   
10. Return to the Swiftic console, click Upload File and browse to the .csr file that you downloaded in the previous step.
    
    
    
    
11. Click Create app ID>.
    
    

To create an app build for Apple (PART 3): 

1. Go to https://developer.apple.com/account/ios/certificate/?teamId=FT25CX6G9C 
   
   
2. Copy the Description field in the Swiftic form and paste it it in the Name field under App ID Description in the Apple form.
   
3. Copy your Bundle Identifier from the Swiftic form and paste it it in the Bundle ID field under Explicit App ID in the Apple form. Please be sure to remove any spaces between words.
   
4. Under App Services, select the Push Notifications checkbox and click Continue.
   
   
   
   
5. Click Submit.
   
   
   
   
6. Click Done. 
   
   
7. Click your App ID.
   
   
   
   
8. Click Edit.
   
   
   
   
9. Verify that the Push Notifications option is checked. Then click Create Certificate in the Production SSL Certificate box.  
   
   
   
   
10. Return to the Swiftic console and click Download File to download the .csr file.
    
    
    
    
11. In the Apple form, click Choose File and select the file that you downloaded in the previous step.
    
    
12. Click Generate.
    
    
    
    
13. Click Download and save the .csr file. Then click Done.
    
    
    
    
14. Return to the Swiftic console, and click Upload File to upload the .cer file.
    
    
    
    
15. Click Get Started.
    
    
    

To create an app build for Apple (PART 4): 

1. Go to https://developer.apple.com/account/ios/profile/profileList.action?type=production.
   
   
2. To add a new provisioning profile, click +.
   
   
3. Under the Distribution section, select App Store and click Continue.
   
   
   
   
4. Select the App ID from the drop-down menu and click Continue.
   
   
   
   
5. Select the relevant distribution certificate and click Continue.
   
   
   
   
6. Return to the Swiftic console, and copy the Profile Name field to the Profile Name field in the Apple form. Then click Generate.
   
   
   
   
7. Click Download and save the .mobileprovision file. Then click Done.
   
   
   
   
8. Return to the Swiftic console, click Upload File and browse to the .mobileprovision file.
   
   
9. Click Build. 
   
   
10. Wait while the build is generated.
    
    
     
11. Click to download the .ipa file (Binary).
